Membership Cancellation/Downgrade -
All memberships are subject to a 30 day cancellation notice. Your request to cancel your membership must be emailed to and you must complete our Membership Cancellation Form in order for your 30-day cancellation to be activated.
- If a member wishes to cancel, 908 Athletics must be notified at the latest 1 calendar month before the next billing date by completing the Membership Cancellation Form. If notification is not given within this time, member’s cancellation will take effect in the following billing cycle and member will remain active until the cancellation is effective. Membership must be active (not on hold) to request a cancellation.
- All memberships are set to auto-renew regardless of contract length. Contracts renew at the end of their term, therefore the 30-day cancellation policy also applies to the last month of a long-term contract, meaning you will be billed for the first month of a new contract if a request for cancel is made within 30-days of contract termination date.
- If you are currently on a 3, 6, or 12 month contract and you must cancel, you will be required to pay back the discount you received during your contract in addition to your final billing cycle. i.e. Cancelling a 1 year contract six months in will result in a final seventh month bill plus $15 x 7 months.
- Downgrading a membership during a contract term will effectively be a cancellation and be subject to the cancellation terms. Upon cancellation the client can then enter in to a new membership contract of their choosing.
Membership Holds -
If a member wishes to place their membership on hold, 908 Athletics must be notified no later than 7 days before the hold start date by submitting a Hold Request Form. If notification is not given within 7 days, CrossFit 908 will start the hold 7 days from the submission date.
- The minimum time a membership can be put on hold for is 30-days.
- Holds can be taken in increments of 30-days up to a total of 90-days, unless accompanied by a doctor’s note or for military reasons. Upon the completion of a maximum hold, billing will begin again pursuant to the contract details.
- There will be a $25 processing fee associated with each 30-day hold.
- A hold may not be placed on an account more than two times in a calendar year, unless accompanied by a doctor’s note or for military reasons.
- A hold request of longer than six-months in a calendar year will result in a cancellation of membership and all cancellation policies will apply.
